White supremacy is able to teach our children to hate themselves because anti-Blackness is normalized at every level of this racist society. This YouTube cartoon called “Dina and the Prince” depicts a white woman turning into a Black woman after she‘s cursed to be “ugly.”

So a kids cartoon channel called My Pingu Tv thought this video was okay. Basically a princess loses her beauty for speaking to a man. To show how she lost her beauty, they turn her skin from white to black. ? I don’t even have the WORDS. https://youtu.be/9lXxzAnmn5c

Glad to see @SenGillibrand doing the work to be anti-racist. America socializes white people to be racist. It’s unavoidable. It’s even in cartoons like “Dina And The Prince Story” My Pingu TV #DemDebate #DemDebate2 #DemocraticDebate2020 https://twitter.com/Fly_Sistah/status/1155498896044503040?s=20

Replying to @notcapnamerica

All white people benefit from white supremacy & admitting it or doing anything to dismantle white supremacy would be admitting they have unearned advantages. Any white person born in America is socialized to be racist. It’s work to be anti-racist. Most aren’t doing the work.

This screen recording shows that I’m reporting #mypingutv since no one else wants to do it. @YouTube & @YTCreators I hope y’all know what needs to be taken care of. Children should not be getting the message that being #black is ugly. #Blacktwitter
